Established in 2020, Jennifer West saw a gap in the carbon market services available to landholders. They needed a different option.. to run their own carbon project and retain 100% of their carbon credits.

Facilitating successful, landholder-led, land-based carbon projects.

Jennifer established Carbon West on the idea that landholders are the key to success for the carbon industry. Without their expertise and support, the environmental, climate, and economic outcomes of the industry will be significantly reduced.

Carbon West want to give landholders the tools and knowledge to enter the carbon market on their own terms. We are independent and take pride in our transparent approach to carbon projects, showing landholders how they hold all the cards and that they can play them for their own benefit.

Jennifer understands both farming and carbon from her own experience, and making them work together for mutual benefit is the driving mission of Carbon West.

What we do.

Carbon West advise landholders and industry on all carbon project opportunities. Our services are tailored to your needs and range from consultancy on your carbon options to registering and reporting requirements for ACCU scheme carbon projects.

Business.

We help businesses better understand the carbon market and their options for offsetting their carbon footprint. Awareness of the nuances of carbon offsetting and the market in general will give businesses the most value from their offsets. We can help them navigate the sometimes confusing carbon credits space and explain the pros and cons of the various options available.

Agriculture.

Carbon West aims to inform landholders on the opportunities available to them in the fast-developing carbon market. We have a sound understanding of agricultural management practices most likely to draw down carbon from the atmosphere.
We believe the benefits of improving soil health will pay dividends in increased production, drought resilience and reduced input costs. Carbon credit income could simply be the icing on the cake alongside carbon neutrality.

Environment.

Improving ecosystem health by empowering farmers to adopt better agricultural practices will help to enhance the quality of water, vegetation and land productivity. Restoring the biological diversity of the soil is a building block for balanced ecosystems. Sequestering carbon will also contribute to reducing the impact of global climate change.
